5 Free Resources for BYU-Idaho Students

As a BYU-Idaho student, you have access to a wealth of resources that can help you succeed academically and professionally. Here are five of the best, all of which are available at no cost to you.

1. Wall Street Journal and WSJ+

Get full access to the Wall Street Journal online, including digital archives dating back to 1889. For free, you can also download a premium version of the Wall Street Journal app for iOS and Android devices. And don’t forget to sign up for WSJ+ for additional benefits and offers.

2. LinkedIn Learning

Boost your skills and showcase your achievements with LinkedIn Learning. After completing courses and learning paths, you’ll earn a certificate of completion that you can display on your LinkedIn profile. Use your student email to sign in.

3. getAbstract

Get quick and easy access to business-related books with getAbstract. This database offers five-page summaries in both magazine and audio formats, most of which can be read or listened to in less than 10 minutes. Sign up with your BYU-Idaho username and password.

4. GitHub Pro + Student Developer Pack

5. O’Reilly Media Library

O’Reilly Online Learning (formerly Safari Books Online) is a subscription-based library that includes books, videos, online training, conference videos, and resources from leading publishers like Pearson, Packt, Wiley, and more. You can also sign in with your BYUI email and access the mobile app for free.
